Kristine Bell

Chapter President

Kristine Bell is an accomplished professional in the insurance industry, currently holding the position of Assistant Vice President – U.S. Commercial Management Liability at Sompo International.


She specializes in underwriting various management Liability lines such as D&O, EPL, Fiduciary and Crime, driving growth and success in the Boston region.


As President of the National African American Insurance Association – Boston Chapter, Kristine is a strong advocate for diversity and inclusion within the industry.


She also contributes her expertise as a member of the Board of Trustees for the Insurance Library Association of Boston. With a career that began at Chubb in 2011 as a Surety Underwriting

Trainee, Kristine quickly progressed to the Commercial Surety Home Office team.


In 2015, she transitioned into Management Liability underwriting at Chubb’s Boston office, specializing in the Executive Risk Portfolio with a focus on the Healthcare industry segment. From there, Kristine joined Philadelphia Insurance in 2019 as a Senior Specialty Underwriter focusing on the Non-Profit and Low-Income Housing industry segments.


Kristine holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Vassar College, where

she graduated in 2011 with a double major in Mathematics and Economics. During her time at Vassar, she demonstrated her leadership skills as captain of the Varsity Women’s Squash Team and held key positions in the Caribbean Students Alliance and the

International Students Association.


Beyond her professional pursuits, Kristine maintains a balanced

lifestyle by staying active at the gym and immersing herself in Boston’s vibrant restaurant scene. Furthermore, she is dedicated to making a positive impact in her community by mentoring youth affected by the foster care system in Greater Boston through Silver Lining Mentoring.

Sabrina Sales

Chapter Vice President

Sabrina Sales is a distinguished leader in the insurance industry, currently serving as the Vice President of the National African American Insurance Association - Boston Chapter. With over two decades of experience, Sabrina has established herself as a strategic thinker and expert underwriter.


In her current role as an Executive Underwriter at The Hanover Insurance Group, Sabrina demonstrates her prowess in risk assessment and underwriting management. Her responsibilities include overseeing underwriting operations and driving strategic initiatives to optimize business performance.


Prior to joining The Hanover Insurance Group, Sabrina held key positions at Philadelphia Insurance Companies, OneBeacon Professional Insurance, and Chubb Specialty Insurance. Throughout her career, she has excelled in roles ranging from Senior Underwriter to Underwriting Supervisor, showcasing her versatility and leadership acumen.


Sabrina's expertise extends beyond traditional underwriting roles, as she has played a pivotal role in developing and implementing cyber security strategies and expanding partnerships with multinational insurance companies.


Sabrina holds a wealth of industry knowledge and actively contributes to professional development initiatives. Her dedication to excellence and commitment to advancing diversity and inclusion make her an invaluable asset to the NAAIA Boston Chapter and the insurance community at large.
